Description
The Copacabana chair was designed in 1955 by Mathieu Matégot. Copacabana gives the impression of having been designed with a single pencil stroke, and the chair's elegance lies in the continuous strength of the line. It is built around a curved tubular frame that surrounds the round seat and the perforated Rigitulle sheet metal backrest, characteristic of Matégot's work, ending in the continuous back legs. The Copacabana armchair, available with black and orange frames, is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, depending on the fabric covering of the seat cushion.
