Description
SHOGUN TABLE LAMP
The Shogun metal lamp was designed in 1986 by Swiss architect Mario Botta. The lamp, now on display at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, has become iconic. Shogun shows striking parallels with Mario Botta's architectural construction: a mastery of light, a quest for simplicity of form balanced between richness and sobriety. Shogun features a painted metal base coupled with two adjustable perforated steel diffusers.
The filigree structure creates a beautiful shadow projection that can be modulated at will by moving the diffuser.
Shogun lamps are more than just lighting, they create an exquisite, realistic atmosphere thanks to the contrast between light and shadow. A refined aesthetic is reflected in the choice of colors, with black and white the only color range to create dynamic rhythms.
Structure in white and black painted metal, white adjustable diffuser in painted perforated steel.
Diffused light emission: by superimposing and arranging the diffusers, you can create a play of light and shadow.
