The F-Chair - outdoor armchair is a re-edition by Gubi of the designs by the famous French designer Marcel Gascoin dating back to 1949. With its striking sculptural form, this seat embodies a perfect marriage of functionality and aesthetics. Its generous, slightly curved back legs add to its imposing, elegant allure. The F-Chair - outdoor combines a solid teak frame, sourced from SVLK-certified sustainable sources, with a seat woven from high-density polyethylene rope. The weave pattern forms triangles on all sides of the seat and backrest, meeting in the center of each as if they were enveloped. Teak, with its naturally high oil content, remains in excellent condition even in the harshest climates, without further treatment, developing a beautiful silvery patina over time. The seat is totally suitable for outdoor use.
Marcel Gascoin is a French designer renowned for his clean, functional style. Trained as a cabinetmaker, he left his mark on post-war French design by specializing in mass-produced furniture, combining modernism with accessibility. Gascoin won several awards for his innovative designs, including the Prix René Gabriel in 1951 and the Prix du Meilleur Mobilier de France in 1953.

MAINTENANCE :
Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain. Clean up spills quickly with an absorbent cloth. Quickly remove grease and other dirt with a soft brush or cleaning pad and mild soapy water. Always scrub in the direction of the grain for best results. Rinse furniture with lukewarm water to avoid staining, and leave to dry. Wood breathes, so don't cover furniture.
